DeanwoodxDesign Kick-Off!!!

 

Join us East of the River and through the WOOD (Deanwood that is) for the OFFICIAL (DXD)DEANWOODXDESIGN KICKOFF!On Saturday, July 14, DeanwoodxDesign (DxD) launches with a free day-long festival in Deanwood, one of the District’s earliest African American communities located in Northeast Washington. The DxD kick off features family-friendly events for all aging and includes art exhibitions, pop out performances, outdoor marketplaces, and music concert.

The DxD marketplaces and interactive galleries at three Temporiums will feature independent Ward 7 and DC-based artisans and crafters selling one-of-a-kind items. Kick off locations include IDEA Public Charter High School, The Fishing School, and the Tubman-Mahan Gallery at the Center for Green Urbanism.
